Converting Layer Styles into Shapes ?!

Hey guys,

I have a BIG problem:

I created a logo in PS using the pen to create shapes.

But in order to get a comic like logo I needed to apply some layer styles (gradient overlay, outline, ..)

But now my client wants to print the logo onto a 1,3 m x 1,2 m poster.

My problem is: When I export the psd file into a eps file, the layer styles a only exported as bitmap data, so the printer can't print them cuz only shapes are printable.

:(

Is it possible to convert the layer styles into shapes so that the printer doesn't ignore them?

would be great. otherwise I'd have to completely redesign the whole logo using only vectors instead of styles...

Try to right-click on every layer and choose "Group into new smart object". Do every layer individually or this will flatten the image. See if it works for you.

Can't see any menu item about smart object, I'm not using the newest version of photoshop (no money :D ) is it a feature of CS 2?
