Weather docklets crash AveDesk

I just uninstalled Norton Systemworks 2005 from my machine and now all of a sudden my weather docklet doesn't work, it just says $s. When I try to update it or press the button to expand it, all of Avedesk crashes. I've tried using another weather docklet, same thing. My system meters still work, but anything weather related crashes the whole thing.

I'm using SysStats 2.5.11 with Avedesk 1.3. Any help would be appreciated, I just can't figure out what went wrong.

Systemworks is probably blocking either scripting or required internet ports needed to access the weather site (or both!).

I'm not sure how since I uninstalled Systemworks. When I was using it, I didn't have a problem with the weather desklet. Only after I got rid of Norton it stopped functioning.

My DesktopX widget (temp replacement I hope) is working no problem, same with my docklet.
