Been searching for them for a while. Composer is Jason Hayes and it's the opening theme of World of Warcraft.
Anyone got the original latin lyrics?

Looks like someone is in love with latin..
There is also some latin in those blizzard trailers, but as far as I can remember it was an opera in one of those by Carl Orff, I think and it was called Fortuna Imperatrix or something like that.. Not sure if any of that helps..
Thanks, I'll take a look. ![]()
And yes, latin sounds awesome in classical and neo-classical music (even though in neo-classical it's usually butchered
)
Ede, bibe, lude, post mortem nulla voluptas.
I found some more cool proto-Latin, Unbe!
Check out "Serenada Schizophrana: V. 'I Forget" by Danny Elfman. It's awesome!

You want a Latin song? have this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lilium_%28song%29
It had a big wiki war because of its supposedly incorrect grammar in the song. (i don't know enough latin to tell, dropped out of latin..)
Thanks vkeios but that's definatly not Seasons of War ![]()

Closest I found, its only part, and probably not correct.
Maybe find someone who bought the soundtrack and ask if it has lyrics?
And because I'm curious now, I'm asking another forum.
Thanks but apparently the lyrics are not on the booklet and from the discussion on that forum, i see Blizzard has actually forbidden Jason Hayes (the composer) to disclose the lyrics.
I would gladly pay for the Collector's Edition of WoW (need to get it anyway) but if it doesn't have the lyrics, i would be paying just for the game which i own and i'd rather wait for the Burning Crusade.
Huge thanks though vkeios, you've found more than i ever did (and i thought i knew my way around google
)
I spent about an hour yesterday trying to write down the lyrics.
Here's the result:
----------------

First part of it was stolen from the music by jason forum.
It looks like latin, but none of the words in it is acturlly real latin.
Feel free to post any corrections or miss-spelling.
