Some general questions before usage

I just downloaded the installer of the flyakiteOSX and I would like to use it but before I need some information:

1) Does it have any viruses?

2) Do all the windows programs work on it? + .NET Framework

3) What am I to expect?

4) How do I return to WindowsXP when I don't want this program?

5) Is it safe?

6) Does it replace the windows folder insides?

7) Does this slow down the PC noticably?

8) Any warnings before usage?

9) Is this a theme? Skin? programs? or just an addon for windows?

10) is this even removable?

1. No viruses, whatsoeer.

2. All windows programs work on it.

3. An incredibly awesome mac-like looking desktop

4. To remove it, just simply uninstall it from the Add/Remove menu

5. Safe, yes.

6. Replaces a lot of system files.

7. It might slow it down, but only if you choose to install ALL the Apps bundled. I'd say just go for Yz Shadow and RK Launcher.

8. No real warnings. . .

9. It's a whole shellpack for windows, it replaces almost everything.

10. Yes, it's removable. Use the method I just wrote above to remove it.

great, I love everything except for one thing in your answer... that it replaces system files.

How do I restore system files when I install it?

It's just that if it replaces system files, will it reverse the effect when removed in control panel?

Yes, trust me, it will remove all the system files that it has modified (and restore them back to XP defaults).

There truly aren't any dangers from it, and if you're not satisfied, you can simply uninstall it.

On another note, I recommend doing a System Checkpoint before installation, in case.

so pretty much it is reccomended to checkpoint everything on installation menu and it will work nice?

I heard of some people having to reinstall it due to issue, and I heart others that said it was amazing, I will use it if you answer this last question

One incompatibility, only applies if you're a programmer. The tweak to make the Terminal look like OSX will confuse compilers. No biggie: Just don't install it or if you already have, the tweak is easily removed.

How will navigating to program shorcuts be? I mean is there going to be a start menu or it will there be the something like the bottom part on your official site? If ever the start menu will not be available, can you change to an option to keep the start menu?

kimpoy: The taskbar will still be there. Although if I remember right the default is to have it positioned at the top. You can easily change this either in the installer or by dragging it back down yourself.
