What Is THE Most Beautiful Apple Hardware?
I fell in love w/ the eMac. I seen my schools computer lab with 40 eMacs with Mac OS X Jaqaur and I about fainted. I was in heaven!
For me its the new iMac. When I saw it at the computer store I said forget this bulky G4 (at the time), its all iMac.
new iMac
17" of course.
My friends have it and you just cant stop sitting and working on it. Compact, G4 powerfull, 17" cinematic-APPLE's-monitor, what else can be better looking than it? Dell?
Personally, I think the iBook and the iMac (Both i's) are the most beautiful.
But I voted iMac, lest people think I cast a biased vote. ![]()
edit:
Just a friendly reminder: I'm not talking about machine capability. I'm talking pure aesthetics.

right - im just saying that from a first glance they all look beautiful. But with the imac i can get stucked for a while cause its so comfortable to work with - specially the 17" monitor.
the ibook looks like a cloud toy. so glowing white and clean that you wanna steal it from the store.
Overall i see the the lamp like imac and i automatically get distracted by it.
After i use it i cant stop using it. Its the feeling you use a different computer than the rest.

it is indeed. I think the iMac experience was in Steve Job's mind when he used the phrase 'The Mac experience'.
Really, using an iMac is a great experience. I never get tired of it.
damn the imac is a great looking machine.. i go to the local computer shop and see it on display and cant stop looking at it.. hehehe
i also like playing with the moniter positions

.. and what's an AlumaBook exactly?
What about the Xserve?
I love the Xserve, So compact, yet so very powerful
And I like the brushed metal and led lights.

you're right dude. How could I forget it..
And no one voted for the G5? I thought there'd be a couple..
my alubook ![]()
Here's something I might look at: a G5 dropped into on of the new Alienware cases. Then I'd never have to worry about my wife trying to use my computer to grate cheese.

J/J everyone. This is an interesting thread. I just have nothing to contribute...Apple hardware can only be viewed by those of a pure heart, so i have no idea what the stuff looks like. It blinds me...causes pain....
Whats the difference between a TiBook and an alubook,....
I dont think that the word AlumaBook exists, google shows nothing.
of course, I voted for the one I have, the new iMac
, the cinema displays would be my second choice
Tough desision... voted for the new iMac, but the old colourful iMacs were perfect back then.
The worst ones IMHO are G5 (oh, I'll get used to it!) and eMac.

well, I think its safe to say that the iMac is the best-designed Apple hardware.. (Y)
ThreeDrives, the alumabook is that new PowerBook with aluminum case. I personally love the 12" PB, i want one!
This is pretty hard, I liked the green tower powermac G3, I like the G4 with speed holes, The Powerbook Ti. I like more than one, thats the problem....
I would like to change my vote to the Macintosh Classic! What about the Newton?!
Taha, how could you forget the Cube?!? ![]()
The Cube, IMO, is the pinnacle of Apple design and elegance. It was priced too high, hence it's disappearance, but in regard to it's design, it was an utter miracle to cram a Powermac into an 8"x8"x8" box. Amazing...
