[Help] Samurize Music Control

Hi everyone...

I'm looking for a Winamp controller for Samurize.

Now I know it has a built in one but that only shows the Song playing and its number..

And... I know theres controls for it to d/l off www.samurize.com

but - and here's the catch - I'm looking for controls that show the progress of the song and lets you control that. (Actually this is sounding more and more like having WINAMP on your desktop... :blink: )

Anyway - thats what I need... A samurize script that can update "realtime" with the song's progress

I have a script right now, but i can't get it to appear anything like that as hard as i've worked to do it.

The ITunes in the screenshot was a script and graphics I got from judge. He sent them to me, and I would share if I had his permission to. The script does use NowPlaying plyf in for QCD.

Thanks for the info Fataxl. :) If you can ever convince judge to release his script, i'd be seriously grateful. :woot:

In the meanwhile, i've tried to make do with that other script as you can see below:

It obviously doesn't look great though and even though it only updates once a minute because of Samurize's limitations, the title and time can get cut off all the time because the script i'm using runs only on one line...forcing me to have to run several instances of the script in the module, shrinking the script-space around the part i want visible. It's pretty crude.

So if you can convince Judge to pass on the goodness, i'd love it. :bow:

Sorry judge !! My memory seems to be slipping me with my age increasing. I got the script from Grusic. I will contact him and find out if it's ok to share.

If it is OK, I will post a link by tomorrow for the script.

Here's the thing - The now playing plug-in uses HTML whereas the templates for the Samurize use the txt files so what you need to do is go to

QCD ---> Prefrences ---> Plugins ---> General Plugins ---> Now playing ----> Configure

There you need to change the "real-time exporting" files to the proper txt files:

Playing template - NEW NOW PLAYING TEMPLATE.txt

Stopped template - NEW STOPPED TEMPLATE.txt

Output file - NEW NOW PLAYING.txt

That should fix the "no itunes" problem...

my problem is that it shows only the text that is in the text-file,

for example: it shows Artist
