Countdown Clock

Hey guys,

Well, I've searched these forums, and I've searched Google, but I just can't find a Countdown Clock for AveDesk. The closest I got was a Countdown Timer for Systats, but that only counted down from a maximum of 1 hour.

I was wondering if anyone here could make a simple countdown clock, that counts from today, to a date and time, that can be set and changed. I would also like to be able to modify the widgets background, but by default, it should just be the countdown clock, with no background. I would also like the clock to be in:

## Weeks ## Days ## Hours ## Mins ## Secs

format. (## = number)

As a note, I have found some of the other Countdown Clocks specifically for Christmas and Halloween, but as I have no idea how to edit them, they aren't much use.

I'm not really a fan of the Yahoo Widget Engine. And since I'm using avedesk for a few different widgets, I'd prefer to get one for avedesk.

That's precisely what I'm after though. If someone can make a version of that for avedesk, I would really appreciate it.

Hey again guys.

Just quickly, if anyone knows how to write apps for avedesk, and can program a countdown clock fairly easily, I have done the background image for it.

This is basically a near 1:1 copy of the Yahoo! Widget. I would use that, but I don't really want another application eating resources, and my experiences with Yahoo! Widget Engine have been fairly poor. Obviously, this would be NFR.
