Taskbar Icons

I have been using v3.5 for a few months now and generally love the way it makes XP look. I have two questions though.

What file or files control the appearance of the taskbar icons (volume, network, usb, etc.)? I would like to keep those as the default windows version.

What file or files control the Start Menu "control panel" icon? I do not like the little apple one.

Is there a list of these things anywhere?

Any ideas which file controls the "nvidia" video card settings icon in the taskbar? flyakite overwrites it with the same one as y'z shadow and I would like to restore it.
