I liked they revved 1GB for base config on 15" models and 2GB as base config for 15" & 17" with 2.33 GHz models.

I liked inclusion of Superdrive and FireWire800 on 15" base models.

I didn't like that they removed 7200 RPM drives from config options !!

I don't have much of an opinion about increased pricing, given that C2D will be costlier than CD chips... But going by earlier records, Apple might slash prices on C2D macbook pros by january at macworld !!

Superdrive has always been featured on Powerbook and MacBookPro

I believe they've upgraded 15" MBP's superdrive to dual layer
