firefox icon sizes

i have firefoxmenubuttons extension installed.

today i was messing about with firefox's settings and i checked/unchecked the "small icons" box. this made a button [add bookmark] suddenly big where it was sitting, on my bookmark's toolbar. Usually when i drag buttons onto this toolbar they automatically displayed as the small version, but since i did the button sizes change, all buttons dragged to this toolbar remain big, and instead resize the toolbar.

my question is, how can i revert back to the original behaviour, where the button becomes small rather then the toolbar becoming big?

i tried that it didnt really help

now i have an ugly big bar

any way i can resize the icon instead?

i've upgraded to firefox 2.0 and this still exists; i don't even know if this is a glitch that has been fixed, a function or the beginning of a glitch; either way i preferred the old behaviour
