Aqua-Soft ForumsHi folks... i'm planning on buying a computer next friday and at the minute im trying to decide if i should:
a) wait for the new mbp with the core duo 2 chips (15" model with the 256mb graphics card) and 2 gigs of ram
or
b)buy a mesh computer with the following specs: 22" monitor (1600, 1200), 2.4ghz core duo 2
2 gigs of ram 800mhz, 300 gb hdd, 1GB nvidia graphics card (yes its 1GB) dvd burner etc.
my problem is windows / mac os x...
at present i use both mac and pc and i truely love working in mac os x but i can't ignore the hardware features of the mesh computer.. mobility isn't really a big deal for me so laptop r desktop isn't a problem but a similar spec'd mac desktop computer when u factor in the monitor is over 2 grand ... (the mesh is priced at £1,475 incl tax)
windows is fine but once u've tried os x u understand how beautiful it is 
what would u all do in this situation would u go for the new macbookpro laptop when its released, hopefully shortly... r go for the pc with the great spec's ?
just wanted to get people's views at the minute as i just can't decide at present..
