Aqua-Soft ForumsOk...I downloaded Fly A Kite, and didn't really like everything about it, so I uninstalled it. These are the problems I have had:
The Bootscreen will not revert back to the original windows. I have tried installing BootSkin, and changing from there, and it will not return to the original windows one, nor will it change to an alternative skin. After the screen goes away, the computer screen blanks, and then moves to the logon screen.
The logon screen also does the same thing (Uses the Mac OS X logon screen). I have tried the same things with that as I have the Boot screen, and nothing has changed.
The system icons will not restore to windows default. This includes the file icons, folder icons, system tray icons, and all other icons.
Firefox (1.5 and the Beta) and Internet Explorer 7 refuse to connect to the internet. My wireless connection is functioning perfectly, but neither browser will connect. Opera, on the other hand, has no problems, and is the browser I'm sending this from.
Firefox in general has issues. Every time Firefox is started, it reverts to the default settings. All my themes and add-ons are gone.
Windows Explorer is skinned similar to Safari. I would like to return it back to normal.
Double clicking folder icons in Windows Explorer no longer opens the folder, but opens Windows Search. I have tried switching in Folder Options between single click and double click, yet neither have fixed the problem.
That's all the problems I have noticed so far. I know my way around my PC, but if you offer a suggestion, please be a little in depth...Maybe tell me the way to get to whatever setting I need to find. Any suggestions, fixes, or links to an FAQ or other thread that has a fix would be extremely appreciated. I just want to have my computer work normally again. Thank you.
