Aqua-Soft ForumsI've been using Avast! for quite a while now and am perfectly happy with it. For whatever reason, I presumed it did it all... virus/trojan/spyware... But now I'm wondering if it's protecting me from everything. Is there a single program that protects against all known attacks?

All joking aside, I've been using ZoneAlarm's Security Suite and it's been a dream so far.

I run as a Power User 99% of the time. I only login with admin priviledges when I need to, and most of the time I can just use "run-as", instead of logging out or switching users.
I also use McAfee and a properly configured firewall.
Haven't had any issues at all.
Anti-virus systems will never protect you a 100%, so I second what Andreas said... be smart what you download and what you run under admin priviledges
