Hello,
since a few days, desklets disappear despite i changed nothing : clock, mail notifier ...
I updgraded to AveDesk2.0, and it's a bea : it crashes as soon as i try to add desklets.
is it a sysstat or a avedesk pb ?
thanx

ive had the same problem.. without a solution.
i.e. add some desklets, run showcase & some have disappeared and changing their display style didn't help it either..
add me to the list of peopel whose deslets randomly dispappear when i run showcase
Me too, though I upgraded to AveDesk 2.0 (beta) so I wonder if it'll happen still.
it still happens. i have 2.0. everytime i run showcase, the weather desklet disappears. even if you reload the theme, or restart avedesk, it still happens.
is there a solution to this? only 2 of my desklets do it though, it's weird. i don't feel like re-making new pidlshortcuts, it's irritating.

probably some resource issue, happens to me also after some heavy activity... regarding your pidls, just save as a theme. the themes are automatically stored in Docs and SettingsApplication data. This folder, by default is hidden by Windows. just go to Folder options and unhide system folders. then go to that folder, copy your theme to a prefered location. Now, everytime the desklets disappear, click on avedesk icon in system tray to exit. then find your theme, click and Viola!!!
I've had the same problem, and when I go the location where the themes are stored, they are screwed up too

that's why you should copy your theme and store it somewhere else. anytime you have that recurring problem, you can always go to your theme directly and click, wherever it is located. Just close any running avedesk first...
