Are you guys talking about the SiX shell? I just talked to the project leader scops in IRC and it is still being developed.
no were talking about the finder being developerd by Alilm and some others i think....
oh, I thought we were talking about the Finder project, where the developers were making an explorer shell replacement.
If I remember correctly, it was dropped because of Panther's (soon to be) release..
My guess is, because the devs were tryting to emulate Jaguar, Panther would make the shell outdated..
maybe godpunk could give some info? he was involved in the project I think...

Well, I am no longer affiliated with the project, but I believe that Alilm was concerned about Panther's imminent release, as well as competition from Six and Falcon. (Correct me if I'm wrong, alilm).

LOL, gladly. I have about 10 themes 90% finished, getting ready for finishing touches. I have added two admins to help me out- they are Cerebral and TheRaginAsian. Both are bringing vast expertise to ThemeDock. The addition of admins will solve the problem that led to ThemeDock's original demise- lack of time. Trying to run the site alone was too much, and the additional help will assure the site stays online. Currently, Cerebral is in the midst of re-coding the site, which I redesigned about 3 weeks ago. All three of us have had various time constraints on us lately, but we are trying hard to get the site back online. I can assure you, it'll be worth the wait!

Seriously though, thanks for the boost. I've implemented a new time-management system into my daily activities (let's call it less wasting time (*coughZeldacough*), more productivity) so you can expect to see big progress on the site this weekend.
Its very much alive.
Im just working on it solo for now.
I want Taha to get in touch so i can start building a panther version of felix which will be used in the shell :own:
