make icon labels long

forgive me if this has been discussed, but is there a way to make it so that the labels under the icons dont enter down if they get to long? like Internet Explorer instead of

Here ( HKEY_CURRENT_USERControl PanelDesktopWindowMetrics ), but it's off by default .

I think that the arrows are VS or windowblinds depended (authors choice if he is going to put them seperate or both at hte bottom).
