Can someone please tell me how to disable the sounds?

I'm really happy with this program, been great so far. But I'd like to remove the sounds. Is that possible? Can someone please tell me how? Thanks.

well if you goto the sounds tab in your sounds & audio devices then you can turn the sounds off from there - t/f
