Edit this in PS with transparent background, save as psdfile and opened in GMG and export it as an individual file. voila! ;) Best is you take a PNG from ur Dock or whatever.

Do you need more instructions PM me

(PS= Photoshop, GMG= GifMovieGear4icons)

@th0re I tried that before as well with , GMG but I still get the same bad pic and is only in this C:\WINDOWS\system32\sysdm.cpl

@el_pincho U say is part of a DLL do u know what Dll is so Ic an check and see if that one is missing something.

It could be your video card, giving the problem, check your settings.

 That is a very good possibility Andykap but wouldnt that hurt all the others *.bmp's with transparency like in IE button shell32 and other ones , is just that one and is driving me

That image is part of a dll, and it should be a bmp indexed.

And the responsible one is not a cpl  ;)

P.D.Maybe, that of the bmp, be not this way, but that of the sure cpl. :(

Hi, are u sure ;) Take a look at sysdm.cpl with reshack, its bitmap 1

The BMP does have transparency:

system_properties.jpg

Maybe the color settings in your video card?

Hi Iceman, i think his pic has lost his transparency!

 hey th0re thanks for the cpl, but i dont know what is going on with this cpl , perhaps is the video card although I have all the Hardware acceleration + directx 9a ,anybody running Intel 82810 Graphics Controller with the lastest drivers it is just that damn cpl other then that everything else displays just fine.

I think it has to do with the video card settings

i am not sure why this isn't affecting other bitmaps, however, I use this CPL on my desktop at home, yet on my laptop I ALSO GET THE BLACK SQUARE!!!!

the difference isnt' the driver or the card, but I think it has to do with setting your vid card at only 24bit color.

Mine can't go any higher than that.

on my desktop 32bit works fine and dandy.
