Google Redux Greasemonkey Script

Hey everyone...

Currently, I am using the Google Redux Greasemonkey Script from Tristan Dunn with Firefox.

Its suppose to look like this:

As you can see the "Google" part is missing from mine:

I am using Firefox 1.5.0.2, Greasemonkey 0.6.5.20060727 and Google Redux Script 1.4. I do not have Adblock installed or anything to that extent. I reinstalled the Script with version 2.0 and nothing.

Why am I having this issue...can anyone please help?

Right click on that cross icon that is showed in browser in place of Google logo and click image properties... see the URL of that image, it should read as below... if it's the same then try checking your firewall settings or else try unchecking Load images from Originating Site only option in Firefox preferences.

Google logo URL : http://www.google.com/intl/en/images/logo.gif

Also... please have patience untill somebody come up with solution, thread bumping can seriously tick moderators off and you could get burned around for that ....

Hey guys, I apologize for bumping this thread early and not being patient. My intentions were not to make anyone mad and I will make sure it doesn't happen again.

@iGo - When I right-click the cross icon, the URL I get is actually:

http://www.google.com/#

I checked firewall settings and they are good to go and "Load images from originating site only" in my Firefox settings is already unchecked.

At this point, I am not sure why this is happening...

UPDATE:

I spoke with the creator of this script, bucky, and it seems Google has changed some items on their homepage, therefore its affecting the script. A fix should be released in the next few weeks.

I just downloaded the latest version and I have the same problem. Looks like it still isn't fixed..

Edit: I found the solution. I tryed all the versions from http://buckymatters.com/googleredux/ and the oldest? version 1.0 works correctly.
