Sorry, but WinSet is not in the game - it set the transparency of window only, not the objects. I can't make not transparent icons on half transparent window. If you can send me a sample code, I'll be very happy.

The application is always taking around 15% cpu usage.

What would be nice is making the icons hoverable and clickable (like in Mac OS X).

By me the CPU Usage is 0-2% in Standby and by switching short up to 5-15% , I think it is normally. Try to restart the MacSwitch. The icons are already clickable and may be I make it hoverable too. The short delay irritates me too, but I have no ideas how to reduce a delay. Please use the simple interface.

I did right click on an item... and selected Resize All. It gave me a message box "Resized" and doing an alt tab didn't display anything then.

I checked windows task manager and was taking 9 to 13% cpu usage.

I killed and restarted the application and it's back fine.

Interesting though, it's still eating up CPU cycles.

When i press ALT-tab and keep it pressed the CPU usage goes down to zero. When i do an alt-tab it peaks to 30% for a second and then back to zero. (During that second, the icon on which it will go next, will be cleared and redrawn. The redraw time of a second is quite slow )

Btw what programming language did you use?

Did you already do code profiling?

The language is AutoHotkey

I think not that 30% for a second is too big value. May be it is not too optimally, but I'm "programmer for fun", if the app works - it is always good.

Thank you Landvermesser for a great app. I was using one of the older versions for quite a while and I was quite happy with it, but then I upgraded to the newest one and now it is soo much faster and better but it seems every once and a while it will display for two seconds and then disappear, but the functionallity will still work (when I let go of the alt-tab it switches to whichever window was selected). Then when I try it immediately after it works fine. It seems to only do this when I think it has to load a new icon from file or maybe just every time there is a change in windows open. It has made it quite unusable Could you please help me possibly set the right setting or could you put up earlier versions for download because I foolishly deleted the version I had before that didn't have this problem. Thank you very much.

MacSwitch is a really nice looking app but its still slow. It is so slow than even 2 Gb of RAM can't do anything about it if you open more than 3 applications and switching among them.
