I'm a big Firefox fan. I purchased a Logitech USB mouse (just the basics) over a year ago, and it was working fine. But recently, my computer started crashing big time. I did a quick Google and found out that it could be my mouse driver being out-of-date. So I downloaded the new MouseWare from Logitech's website. The crashes have stopped (for now... we'll see in a month if the crashes have been decreased or eliminated), but now I've got a major problem.
I used to be able to load links in a new tab by clicking on them with the scroll wheel/middle button, and close tabs the same way. Now, I can't seem to do that. And instead of the Firefox scroller popping up when I click the middle button, I get the ugly Logitech one.
I don't want the crashing to start again, but I don't want to reduce my internet productivity.
I've tried all of the usual things. I've set my scroll wheel to Unassigned, AutoScroll, Universal Scroll and Middle Button, and nothing works.
Please help!
