Awkward crashing..

My macbook seems to crash when I unplug my headphones. I've been able to reproduce the problem over and over again, although nothing really seems to make sense. It gives me a msg like.."there was a problem, please hold the power button down blah blah blah". Any ideas? :S

take it to the apple store and ask them to check the headphone jack. sounds like a minor hardware issue
