Problems with flash 9.0 and flyakite?

Flash has worked fine for me all the way up until 9.0 came around. Now I am unable to install it. It states that it is installed on the update page almost immediately every time. I've attempted to install the exe file I found for it a while back but that does not work either. I've deleted the Doc and Set/User/Application Data/Macromedia file once, reinstalled flash, and it actually worked but magically I wound up back at square one later on and the same method refuses to work anymore. I've made sure the manage add-on tool has enabled it and the only thing I can think is that it is having a problem with flyakite. Can someone please tell me I'm an idiot and show me that one little thing I'm missing so that I may miraculously view a single youtube video without pulling my hair out. thank you, and god bless.

Ok, well, so far I've managed to uninstall flyakite, which for some reason would only completely uninstall in safemode due to hanging on uninstalling the i-Tunes multi-plugin I believe it was called. After having done that, I googled a flash uninstaller, uninstalled flash, reinstalled flash, and boom.. it works.. amazing heh.. I haven't reinstalled flyakite yet so I've no idea if its part of the issue, but so far it doesn't look that way. I'll keep you posted for those of you with a similar issue after I reinstall kite. later
