Ok quick review of the things:

MY wishlist (based on the OS X, alone) :

[*]Fix of the hide/appear feature (not that I hide the dock, but sometimes when i 3d around)

[*]Darken items in the dock when MOUSE DOWN on them

[*]Positioning on the screen

[*]Automatic adjustment on the screen when switching resolutions

[*]Ability to drag n drop FEW items to the dock simultaniously (optional*)

[*]Fade+grow items when first dropped in the dock - similar to how a running task appear

[*]limit the size of the dock according to resolution (incase the seperator disappear to the sides)

[*]smooth transition instead of a pop repositioning of an item when dragged and dropped in a new place

[*]HAVE A SWISH SOUND EFFECT WHEN THE GENIE SMOKE APPEAR (deleting an item)!

All these are from the OS X dock - IMHO, i believe they should come first. But that i'll leave to the master to decide.

My one wish would be that the dock BE a taskbar, not just the right side of the seperator. So, the icons in the dock show the state of an app (hidden, opened, closed). Is I clear?

Right-click context menu on 'My Computer' allows pop-up browsing of 'My Computer' (this would be great to allow faster accessing of Hard Drives & CD-Drives).

I must say, though, kudos on this latest version. It runs smoothly and functions well.

The dock itself

[ ] Something like that:

...even if it's no graphical at all, the ability to move everything everywhere and add spaces/separators would be great.

[ ] Add some sort of outline or shadow to minimized windows.

[ ] Do not show non-minimized windows in tasks area (optionally maybe)

[ ] Add sounds for dock events

[ ] Option to change how many icons are affected by magnification effect

[ ] Add System menu on right-click of an item (e.g. for a folder, "Open, Explore, .. Properties")

Existing items

[ ] option to change font/position of text in email & weather items. drop the "N/A" text in weather item.

[ ] ability to add more than one items of a kind (e.g. 2 or more weather items)

[ ] move the options for email accounts from the dock control panel to Item Properties (so we could use one email item for account A and another for account B, etc). Save passwords, too!

[ ] add an indicator/counter for unread messages in msn or other messengers (possible?)

New items

[ ] ICQ & Yahoo! messengers (someone mentioned AIM above). maybe Trillian or Jabber, too.

[ ] iCal. Right now it can be done by restarting the dock in midnight. Would be much better a smoother way.

[ ] I'd love to see a keyboard language switcher/indicator and a connection monitor, so I can drop the Windows taskbar completely

Anyway, even without the above, the new dock is lovely as it is!!!

[] If you don't want to save the passwords due to security issues, then at least, when the dock runs at startup, a dialog pops up in which you enter ALL your passwords at once, instead of one popup box that you have to focus, type one password, hit enter, focus another dialog, type, enter, etc... just have one so that you can focus, type, tab, type, tab, type, enter.

A few requests for context menus.

(1) Have context menus use windows style (ex: there's no bevel with Windows Classic).

(2) Use windows context menus for items and append MobyDock option below them (like ObjectDock does).

(3) Have MobyDock configuation options in sub-menus.

And I have one crazy request which I never expect to see implimented, but wanna throw out there anyway:

+ Add ability for dock items which open up sub-menus (either vertically above the icon, or slide out to the side of it into the dock) which can store genre specific items. Ex: You have a Games icon which when clicked all your icons for games slide out from it. You have one for all of you Office applications, etc.

When Moby Dock is not set to always on top, when there is another window (application) open at full window, when the mouse is placed over the window's edge(in my case, the bottom of the screen), Moby Dock does not show up but which can be a great convenience if it does (at a delayed time of, say, 1 or 2 seconds).

One suggestion....when using the mail plug-in...when first starting up the dock, the password box pops up. Please put the cursor focus in the password box, so I can just type my password and hit instead of first having to click in the box.

This latest version is slowly weaning me away from Yz...I've been using MD exclusively for a couple weeks now.

Sub-menus!

When I add a shortcut to my start menu to the dock it's all well and good. I click on it, the menu opens and shows me my shortcuts and shortcut folders. When I get to one of those shortcut folders, what happens? It doesn't open another menu, it opens a window!

* it must explode the CPU when clicking the "atomic" (burn) icon

* it must be able to heat my coffe and bring it to my bed
