for fans of 'pinky and the brain'

so, when i'm not working full-time, i do computer support on the side. one of my customers is andrea romano, emmy-winning (she's got 7, i touched 'em) voice director on such projects as animaniacs, pinky and the brain, justice league, freakaziod, the boondocks, etc...

so, she's getting me a couple of signed pinky and the brain dvd's (one for me, one for ebay ). i just saw her today, and she didn't have my dvd's yet, but she had a surprise cd for me! what could it be?

Oh my god, that is so cool. Used to have a soft spot for Pinky. I was just about to ask you to ask me before selling the other one on eBay, but then I realized that there may be some seriously devoted fans out there willing to give their right arm. Which I'm not.

OK, I haven't heard the clip yet (56k ) But if you could, tell her I've enjoyed many of the shows she has worked on, like Freakazoid, and Animaniacs, and Pink and the Brain, and Superman cartoon series, and Hysteria, and Batman Beyond, and Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker (KICKED ASS!), and Justice League AKA JLU (the best damn cartoon that was cancelled because Cartoon Network is stupid and only cares about Anime! Loved that show! Stupid CN. /puts CN into the "Gone to the Shitter" channels along with ZDTV/TechTV/G4)

seems that some of you (yes, austin, YOU!) have gotten the idea that pinky is voiced by a woman. not sure how that started (probably by croat). my friend andrea is a woman and she's the one who got rob (a man) paulsen (pinky's voice) to record that for me.

Andrea Romano is the voice director for tv shows / films. She is very involved with hiring the actors that do the voice for animation (or anything else that needs voice acting) and directs how they should speak it. Pretty much like a normal director, but for voice acting.
