I'm going to start doing some isometrical pixel art, and I'm not entirely usre what program would be best.
I don't want to use photoshop... I just don't like doing pixel art in photoshop... (don't know why) Also photoshop's shapes are a nuisance and you can't use them in isometrical pixel art.
I just need a program that uses a pencil tool (not brush tool!) and it's fill bucker/magic wand selector tool has 0 tolerance and no anti-aliasing. (It looks horrible if you use anti-aliasing in pixel art)
So basicly I need a program that:
-Does not use anti-aliasing or AA can easily be turned off
-Uses all the simple tools (Selection, pencil, fill bucket, colour picker, etc)
-Has shape/line tools (Once again, no AA)
-Has Layers
-You can control transparency of layers
EDIT: Also, if you know what I'm talking about, it would be good if it made lines/shapes like paint does (no anti-aliasing, and you can easily just select if its an outline, solid or both) not like photoshop (you make your shape and you use effect to change what it looks like, and it has anti aliasing)
I also don't want to use phtoshop because it's a pain switching between using it for pixel art and normal stuff.
Thanks,
~Wuzzie
