Changing the iMac computer icon...?

Ok so i want to change my computers icon in the side bar and i heard you have to replace the Imac.icns file located in System>libary>Coreservices>Coretypes.bundle>resources>content or something rather with the .incs file you want it to be. Okay so i get that part but when i get to the Coretypes.bundle ... what the hell do i do cause you can't open that file/folder. I dont know if there is another way to do this but candybar doesnt change the mycomputer icon in my finders sidebar for me... i just want to change it it's no big deal. Either tell me the correct way to manually replace the file or tell me how to get inside the .bundle folders. All help apreciated.

You need Candybar (for an easier way).

I have candybar if you read my post all the way through i said candybar isnt changing it for some reason. I think it might be because the permissions on my computer are set to read-only. If you can tell me how to change it thatd be great cause its not working in candybar and terminal Su Chmod 666 /PAth/to/folder isnt working to change the permission either if anyone knows the right command in terminal post back to this thanks.

Are you the administrator? Try repairing disk permissions in Disk Utility.
