Font with white background

Simple question: Is it possible to make a font with a white background to it?

No, Um actually I meant like not in any paticular application, but like so no matter where you use the font it has a white BG. I meant that each character would have like a white box around them in the font itself. Sorry for not being more specific.

Fonts can have only one colour, which you choose in every case you use it (in a word processor, grahpics editor etc).

A white background means that you require a second colour for your font which is impossible.

Where do you want to use that?

Maybe there's a workaround to achieve the same results.
