Question about taskbar shadow?

I'm using WindowBlinds, most of the themes have shadow included, but without taskbar shadow

I know I can use StylerXP to add shadow, but then these two shadows applications will overlap

Does anybody know how to add shadow to taskbar(under WindowBlinds themes), without overlaping shadows(use SylerXP at the same time)?

First, it's just Styler, not stylerXP. Second, Windowblinds itself doesn't add shadow to windows, the shadows are built into the skin, using transparency. The shadows themselves were added using Skinstudio, so I imagine that is what you will have to use to add shadows to the taskbar too. Styler is a bit slow in handling shadows, just go with Yz shadow. That way you have window shadow (active+inactive) and taskbar-shadow, and it is more customize-able. Sure, it will overlap the shadows on skins that have them built in, but you can also set the transparancy with Yz shadow, just play around with the settings until it looks good.

EDIT: Another, more simple way is to modify your wallpaper to include the shadow under the taskbar.

yes thats what i mean. make a pidlshortcut with a shadow image instead of an icon, and just disable clicking on it.

Windows FX from Stardock will do it. I'm using WinFX right now to slam shadows behind andi18's blue VistaPlus skin as well as providing one under the taskbar.

Get y'z Shadow under "Programz" at

http://oxyx.oxygen-inc.com/

It lets you fully customize the shadow placement/size and also can make context and pop-up menus, like Start, transparent to whatever degree. Simple, but awesome program.
