Locking the Application Folder Once It's Added To The Dock?

Hi,

I finally added my application folder to my dock on my mac and I was wondering if their are any ways to lock certain programs and/or folders that are on the dock, just as how certain things are locked in their location on the dock, to avoid removing things from the dock? Some examples that are locked on the dock are widgets and finder.
