I have downloaded a widget from here: http://widgets.yahoo.com/gallery/index.php?show=25 but I don't know what to do with it after the downlaod. I am using XP Media Center Edition. The downloaded widget shows the "Windoze Logo" so I guess it works once I figure out where it goes.

Thanks all of you for the help. I did download the Yahoo Widget Engine and now I have some widgets on my desktop screen.

I just need to try and figure out how to hide them. Like a hot corner or something like that.
