Objectbar 2.0 released ...

Just a heads up for those who have been waiting for a new release of OB ever since 1.6 came out. Stardock released Objectbar 2.0 today and have apparently fixed alot of the bugs users complained about in the last version.

For those who don't already have a purchased copy OB1.6 (And are not planning to buy OB2.0) I wouldn't bother downloading the trial as it only allows you to use the skins that come with it. I'd appreciate anyone upgrading to tell me here wether or not OB2.0 accepts older themes (For example CRNI themes) ...

Wow, I thought they'd abandoned OB 2.0 totally because I heard about it like 3 years ago hehe... I wonder if this thing is Unicode compatible now.

I updated to OB 2.0 last night.

I haven't a chance to play around with it much but I had to make some tweaks with toolbar spacing, etc. to get the existing CRNI themes to display properly. It looked fine but I didn't dig into the functionality of the menus, etc. I had closed it down soon after adjusting the toolbars because I didn't have time to play around with it and my fears from my past 1.6 experiences. I had lots of issues with 1.6 hanging, freezing up my pc, and menus that would not go away.

I will have time to play around with it this weekend when I don't use my system for work related purposes. If I have any issues with it, I will post it here.

I just downloaded OB2.0 and it works fine although I am using the free version and it only comes with three preinstalled themes I dont plan on buying it since I have Finderbar as a backup if I need it I wish they well make it free -that would be a far fetch I know but a request. I am also playing around with the Macpc themes and it works fine so far - I will update you if thing dont start to work right which with most new apps it takes a while to integrate and not work with some residetnt file and applications. If any one has any ideas or suggestions I would appreciate it

Well there seems to be a problem with the 30 day timout lock. After less then 24 hours OB 2.0 says my limit has expired ... Fastest month ever
