Aqua-Soft ForumsI want to buy a barebone case with a faster processor etc. I currently have a Dell Dimension 4600 (i think). When I buy the new barebone case, would there be anything extra (configuration wise) that I would have to do to get my Dell's hard drive to work with the new motherboard?

id say a format of the drive would be in order, to clear out all the old bunk dell drivers you had for the old hardware.
riot got it dead on. back uppa you data and start clean.
try scandisk to search for bad sectors too, if there are too many, consider a new hd!
