After using iTunes 7 (and being somewhat disappointed) I wanted to revert back to iTunes 6.0.5, but I already deleted the .dmg-file that contains the installer. Does anyone know where I can still get it from? Many thanks

It actually wasn't that easy to find. I believe you had to go digging through their discussion forums to find it. So, for right now, your two steps from stupid
.
A big thumbs up, "he who wishes his name not to be spoken" ..two steps IS a whole lot better than one in this case ![]()
If it's the new ugly look that disappoint you, you should try AguaT (for mac), it skins iTunes in an Aqua style, even the bottom buttons are aqua-like and not brushed, it looks very good

Really?
You're lucky.
No you didn't, you just had click "Downloads" and it would be there.
I'm on the discussion forums, ya know.
I was able to download iTunes 6.0.5. When I try to install it, however, the 3 features--iTunes driver, iTunes phone driver, and iPod driver--are grayed out. That's on Custom Install. On Easy Install, it simply tells me there's nothing to install. Help!
Thanks!
Maybe try to delete iTunes preference files? Either dig in ~/Library/Preferences or uninstall iTunes with Appzapper.
that didn't work. *sigh* and of course, iTunes 7.0.1 crashes every time i try to open it.
OK. Try fixing permissions, running daily/weekly/monthly maintenance scripts (google for this stuff), then zap iTunes again, make sure that there is nothing connected with it on your disk left. Also delete your music library - not music files but this big config file located in ~/Music/iTunes. Reboot and install iTunes again.
thanks
Wow, did it work?
I have nothing related to iTunes on my computer, but everything is grayed out also, I really need some help.
