Active Desktop...?

Now, It may have just been me but I could have SWORN that Active Desktop was done away with in WindowsXP... well then, TELL ME WHAT THIS IS!:

HA HA HA. :lol: I use to HATE those so much in 98. I didn't even know those error screens were still around.

Try turning Active Desktop off.

Active Desktop was never done away with, it was just disabled by default. There are some pretty cool things you can do with it still so M$ left it there.

I personaly can't stand it because it disables all the alpha blending on the desktop icons when it's running.
