DockEx.com v4

DockEx.com version 4.0 (beta) is now up and running, although not 100% complete. Still working on some issues.

New Layout

New Menu Interface

- Items

- Tags

- Messages (not enabled yet)

- Friends

- Bundles (collection of items you can bundle together)

- Favorites

- History

You also now get your own "my DockEx" page.

The rating system uses the same framework I have been working on for broova.com (see http://broova.com/info for more information)

I tried my best with all the technologies implemented to have as standard as possible to work on IE6+, IE7+, Firefox 1.5+, Opera 9+, Camino, Safari 2+.

Couple of things that are not working yet:

- Adding an item is now disabled (just found a bug -- go figure)

- Modifying an item disabled due to the first issue

- Messaging is disabled for now

- RSS feeder is down for now (http://dockex.com/feeder/)

I need PHP5!! to do XSL Transformations

For now you can download, comment, rate, add friends and search at this time.

Just took a quick browse through the mydockex pages, and there is no link back to the main dockex.com site that I could find. You should link the header image or something back to it or something mydockex related, but either way there should be an easy way to get to dockex.com itself.

Ok. You can now filter in dockex for 5 apps (Y'z Dock, Yahoo! Widgets, SysStats, RK Launcher, Object Dock and Ave Desk).

People will be able to start submitting items and links to resources by the end of this week.
