Aqua-Soft ForumsHi all, Im using the new yZdock and have my windows task bar aligned at the top with auto hide on, my question is..... is there a way I can just get rid of the task bar all together? If so how would I go about doing it? If i need a program of any sort could someone respond with the name of it and their official website? Much appreciated.
Removing The Taskbar All Together
You can try using ObjectBar...it will hide the taskbar....Also there are some registry tweaks to disable it all-together but I don't remember them right now and there was a flaw....that if you disable the bar, the start button doesn't work or something like that...

I dont know if it was a mistake or Objectbar does it to, but Objectdock has an option for hiding the Taskbar that hides it completly. You might consider switching to ObjectDock, i like it better anyway.
in windows xp:
ctrl+alt+del
go to processes tab
find the process "explorer.exe"
end the process.
note: this will also get rid of your desktop icons, beware.
to get everything back: ctrl+alt+del
new task, type in "explorer.exe".
