Photoshopping Themes

I'm trying to port a theme. I copied and paste the image from the screenshot to my theme. But when i compare them with the eyedropper tool, they are a little bit different. They are both purple but slightly different. The original was 5c5d6f colour but mine is 5e5f70 after pasting.

I have converted both the original screenshot and my theme to 16 bit. Please help.

Make sure you have color profiles turned off in Photoshop. Then re-photoshop the elements and try again.
