Transparent Text?

Hi,

Is there a way to make the text of my desktop icons transparent in OS 9.2. Is there an extension of control panel app that can do this?

I have a clone (supermac c600/240) and tried to upgrade to OS X but I can't get it to work so I am stuck with 9.2.2 which runs good, but I really would like to have more of a OS X look.

The program that comes to mind here is Kaleidoscope. You are probably familiar with it. I know since 8.6, transparency was enabled for icons, but I am not aware of transparent text. Since Kaleidoscope changes so many of the resources of the OS, I figure if any program can do it, this one could. Check it out.

Using it right now, as we speak (have my PC & Mac next to each other) but there is no option to have the text background transparent. Thanks tho for the reply.
