Aqua-Soft v3 Skin for phpBB 2.x Released
Hi, I'm just wondering if anyone has seen this problem. If I have any additional phpBB plugins installs that modify the admin panel, ie, Anti-Spam ACP or EasyMod, when you try to access these pages, you get an error something like the following:
Template->make_filename(): Error - file admin/anti_spam_acp.tpl does not exist
Changing back to the standard skin makes the problem go away, but switching back to the Aqua-Soft skin, and it re-appears....
Any ideas?

Copy the missed File(s) from the SubSilver templatedirectory to the equivalent AquaSoft Templatefolder, this workaround fixed some simmilar Probs for me..;-) I also mentioned that EasyMod isn't really compatible with the AquaSoft Templates, but it's not a real prob to include different Mods for phpBB by hand. Just compare the changes in subsilver to the original subsilver and to the aquasoft templates and you'll see where to put additional Code.

Just an update on the phpBB skin.
Well phpBB3 has gone final today so that means I can start working on an updated version. So hopefully I can get that one done before new years, also this means the phpbb 2.x build will no longer be worked on.
So if you guys have any suggestions for the phpbb3 by all means post em.

Also, I hate to be "that person" but I hope to hell that this will still have the unified theme and not the Leopard UI mess that we have currently. Great job though!

I'm working on a phpBB3 version now, it'll be a bit different than the original phpbb2 one. But pretty much the same basic layout of things.
"Should" be out fairly soon, all the templates are a bit different than previous phpbb, and the style sheets are a mess.
I'm not sure if the phpbb2 skin works though on phpbb3, I don't have the time to mess with that to see, so if anyone has tried. Do let me know how that went.

Anyway heres a little teaser so you get the idea. I'm using 100% pngs so that means you can use any color you want. Also means I'll have to do an ie6 friendly version BLAH.

Unlucky, but a lot of these windows-users still use this rotten browser without standardcompatibilty named InternetExplo[d|r]er 6..so it would be not such a good idea to skip it. Even regardless that i as a pure opensource systemuser would prefer skipping it, too, the standardusers will probably cry if they don't see the right layout i guess*g*...
Hope the phpBB 3 Theme will quickly be available without overheating Tiamans brain due to the ie6 compliance problems

Looks gorgeous--I can't wait to see it implemented.
Regarding IE6, just detect its browser string and display one of those "Update to IE7, Firefox, Opera, or Safari" pages. There is seriously no need to bend over backwards for IE6 any longer. If they don't want to upgrade, they don't get to use Aqua-Soft. (And I would think that nearly every A-S visitor is using Firefox or Safari anyway.
Just an update: I'm gonna try to get somewhat of a "work in progress" version of the skin, on my demo forums this weekend.

Another delay, I've been sick past few days so havn't spent much time on Aqua-Soft.
I plan on working on it some more this weekend, if you guys have suggestions or little (template only) mods you want added let me know.

Yea, I restarted the skin the other day, just to get it done I'll be using the same css/html (basic structure) that I do on this vb skin.
Sweet, is that the Leopard styling I've been waiting to see on the vB skins?
