I don't know if any of you used to watch that show. Maybe you've heard the oh so well known "crikey!" somewhere. I used to like that crazy man. He died due to a stingray barb to the heart, while filming on Batt Reef.

I can't say I ever watched his shows much, but everything I've seen and heard about him portrayed him as a guy who was truly passionate about his work and what he did. He will be missed, most of all by the family he leaves behind.

my brother recently met him, i wished to very much so.

I go to the Australian International School in Singapore, and we are all moruning his death. Steve irwin was in contact with our school a few times, and it is such a shame to hear of his death over here in singapore.

A true australian icon (even though I am a new zealander) not to be forgotten.

I found out on my way to class at 1pm and couldn't believe my ears. Then I got back and a friend popped a link to the story. I watched his shows religiously when I was 12, and he was an amazing guy. R.I.P. Steve.
