Before you scream: I know similar questions have asked in this forum before (i actually used the search). But i think there only two threads and they were related to the ipod shuffle. Personally i own the ipod nano.
I love Flyakite and I want to use it with every single option it has. Sadly I found out that my itunes won't sync with my ipod, when Flyakite is installed - neither manually nore automatically. The symptoms are different. Sometimes I get an error popup informing me the iPod could not be read and not be written to. Sometimes iTunes claims my nano had been synced and I could disconnect it, but no data has been changed on the iPod (this happens most of the time). Windows recognizes my iPod every single time i connect it, iTunes and other apps like iPod Wizard don't. iPod Updater is only able to mount the iPod when I plug it in while the Updater app is running. And now the best part: I'm able to sync my nano right after I restore it, but only until I disconnect it for the first time. After that the above mentioned happens.
I really tried to isolate the problem and first I couldn't believe it was Flyakite. By uninstalling different components of the pack, I could track down the problem to the *.dll files. If the *.dll files are not installed, everything works just fine. I already mailed flyakite about this, but he doesn't seem to respond (it's been about two weeks since).
The question now is: Does anybody have a clue which exact *.dll causes the problem, so i can simply not install it? there's a lot of *.dll's being replaced during setup and testing all of them sperately is not an option.
I appreciate your help
