Aqua-Soft ForumsEverytime i restart my computer, and use the avedesk showcase, the shortcuts wouldnt be there anymore, but if i set the shortcuts as a desktop icon, then it'll still be there after i restart. Also i have to set the location for the weather desklet too after restarting, can anyone help me out here?
Avedesk Problem
I've a similiar problem.....i'm using pidlshortcut to put recycle bin and my pc on the desk, then i save this config, plus I save the same config in another file to make a backup. Sometimes, not everytime but 90% of times, when i restart my pc, avedesk configs are empty, not only the main but the backupped too....pls help us, this problem is very boring! I've to make my confing every time! I'm using avedesk 1.3
Not sure why that's happening, but why not try the 2.0 beta?

Yikes.....you couldn't find it when there's a thread titled "Release Beta of Avedesk 2"...do you want Ave to come to your house and install it for you?

Right click on your desklet icon/control panel/Setting...select global settings/ other..check box load Avedesk On windows Startup.
i have had something similer i have no lost my settings 3 times and had to start from scratch it even wipes the back up.
too bad god program but problem is too much.
