unfortunately im stuck with 1024x768- im wondering if you guys can help me- when i configure it- using sax2- and use my native at 1400x1050 or even 1280x1024- everything hangs.. and i cant configure or save the settings.. any tip would be greatly appreciated.. hehe ill be using this for a long time!!

What video card do you have, which drivers are you using?

lol sorry for this thread- i just fixed it- i edited out xorg.conf to force res at 1400x1050- im using the latest ATI linux drivers- vidcard 9700 M, just noticed that i cant access the compiz themes though... and time to experiment how to enable kde with xgl now...

You need cgwd to use compiz themes, the vanilla compiz (included with suse) will not work.

Use the packages from QUinn's repositories.

Reconfiguring XServer will probably fix the resolution issue...
