2 questions
1) are you going to be able to burn stuff other than wavs?
2) Can you make it not show the whole path, just the filename?

there are a lot of things there that are very easy to change and it will make the app look perfect 
try looking at some mac screenshots 
Yeah, I think if you clean up the graphics, you'll have a good app.
Ok local host, so exacty WHAT could be changed. Being critical is great, it helps people to expand their horizons, but without being specific, parlador will never know what exactly you dont find appealing.
I personally think all the stuf he has released in the past few days has been some pretty decent work.

(Y) It looks good so far, dont be discouraged, some people here do not understand how to give constructive critizism,yeah the graphics need some cleaning up but to call somebody elses work !CRAP! is FU*^& up perhaps he should try to atleast do somethiing better and then critisize.

i didnt say the app is crap, i said the LOOK is crap.
the first thing that needs to be changed is the font. it's not lucida and its even not anti-aliased.
also, the controls have a lil white in the borders, but i dunno if that can be changed at all unless using custom controls.
the maximize, minimize and close buttons need to be changed.
the Track, File Name, Type and Time thing needs to be changed.
the icon below the scroll bar should be anti-aliased.

i already said it, the app aint crap! just the design! the GUI is the easiest part of making an app

Just a note parlador - on your last screenshot, you need to correct the spelling of 'cach' to 'cache'. The project looks encouraging though. Good luck.
@all - It's already looking better - he fixed the borders around the check boxes, and I can imagine he'll fix the rest soon enough.
@parlador - kudos - this is looking good, I'm eagerly anticipating its release...

Are you using your own controls on purpose so they do not resemble Apple's artwork and you can avoid issues?
Also, thanks for creating this. Will the visual resources be changable, or will they be hidden like the other apps?
Wow, that looks VERY good. I am impressed. Three suggestions.
1. Change the name. Many great apps have fallen because of the "i" name and other apple "copying". It would be best for all of us if you choose a non-apple related name.
2. Could you make the check boxes use the Aqua Checks like you had before. I think they went better w/ the look.
3. Could you anti alias the fonts.
hey now we are talkiing business , yeah man thats right i guess now this app has started to look a bit aquafied , also not to say the least i think parlador has taken the critisism pretty well & look what have got our selves (RESULTS !!!) anyways a good looking burner i always welcome , well done parlador & yeah take your time , try to add more features (as others may suggest) , try to make it look even more beautiful (im sure you will ) & the rest as they say SHUD be history :naughty: .....................
