Issue In Mac Skins for Windows...

Hi Everyone,

I've just noticed that in all the Mac OSX skins I have seen so far for windows, the creators are missing one key thing.

When a window is inactive on Mac OS Tiger, the scroll bar turns a light grey shade as can be seen here.

Can anyone please release a skin that changes this?

If there is already one, can someone point me to it?

Thanks.

There is a limitation of the system. Windows doesnt allow to do that. The only thing windows changes on focus/non focus events are a few colors only. Windows doesnt call other toolbar overlays to do that.

I'm 90% sure it is impossible. Perhaps some coding with WindowBlinds could help with that, but I'd never seen that before.

Hmm ok. If anyone does see something like this released for WindowBlinds, can you please post the link here?

Thanks.

It's just a matter of Stardock adding the capability. The OS sends a message to the window when it loses focus...that's how they are able to change the titlebar on inactive windows. I guess if enough people ask for it....

iTunes for windows does what he's asking.

Does that say it is possible?

That is using the bitmaps provided in the iTunes skin, not Windows's native elements.
