Aqua-Soft ForumsI been having this problem since the first time I upgraded to version 1.5 a few months back. Everytime I start firefox I have to open a explorer window , or open another program or wait for like 10 minutes for me to be able to type. I other words for me to be able to type. I open firefox first and then any other app or window then firefox lets me type! Please help!! Oh yeah I tried the usual like uninstalling it, and deleting my profile but I dont know what else to do.

I don't know the answer, and that sounds really weird. However, I think you will get better answers from the mozilla forums. Chances are, that someone has had the same problem, so I advise you to search before you post a new topic there.
But before you go there, make sure you have updated your firefox. It might have been fixed in a newer release (the current one is 1.5.0.6).
Isn't this a windowblinds/firefox conflict?
I had the same with windowblinds...grrr.
It does that to me too sometimes.I just right click the toolbar and select Customize, then close that and it works again.
This is an objectbar-firefox conflict. I just open firefox, click the desktop, and then select firefox again. A small annoyance..Proof? If objectbar is unloaded, this problem does not occur for me. I'm using windowblinds 5.01 and objectbar 1.65 enhanced with ob_mod
I don't think so...I use ob and firefox with no probs.
I just love it when I'm proven wrong:p ..Leads me to believe that there is a problem elsewhere, so I HAVE to get off my ass and search for it, lol
Vale46 has the right solution/workaround though... it's the easiest one. 2 clicks and you have textfield access.
I've never seen a 'real' solution to this problem.

I use windoblinds/objecbar/windowfx/iconpackager.... but I seem to remember it happening back when I just used windowblinds. But soniku's post:

I'm gonna go test this out to see if I can find out what's wrong.
EDIT: Well, running nothing else, when I have windowblinds AND objectbar running I get the problem with firefox.
Just WB running = no problem. Just OB running = no problem.
I have this problem too with Objectbar but only when the use current window's text checkbox is checked

I came up with the same as realitybath: objectbar only running, no glitch. windowblinds only, also no glitch, but using both at the same time results in..u guessed it.."The Glitch"
I found on my computer that if firefox starts up in maximized mode then I don't have the problem
