xVis is an Application which Visualize your sound card s output in a very nice skin based Engine. this first version contains lots of feautres but some are not working in this Version. you can see the Preview file to see what it is

this is fully Skinnable , Skinneres please send me a note for a tutorials.

2. Alpha , Effects -> Median , Jitter , Mirrorr , Back Colour .

5. Can Visualize 2 Channels Streo Sound. from 11.025 KHz to 96.000 Khz

6. Auto Select Recorder on Startup.

7. Supports .PNG Image Support but without Transparency.

ERROR : MFC70.DLL not found...

im downloading it now...might fix the problem...but if this dll is necessary to run this app,i recommend that u include it in the package....im assuming it was just an OOPS.

EDIT : now it says msvcr70d.dll not found....

dude whats up with that?? lemmi know...im not downloading another dll just for this...

i tested this on the 6 channel and 8 channel outpurt card...it works perfect on tht one..

i think My app is unbale to Select your Recording device automaticaly ...

use this tweak if ur advanced user:

1 . goto Run > regedit and press enter

2. Open Registry TRee and HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > xVis >xVis>Settings

3. find a key name 'Auto Start Mixer ' and set the value to '0' ZERO

4. and then close the registry and restart the application.

hope this tweak works on your PC.

5. and then 'Right click' on the 'xVis Tray Icon' and Select 'Options'

6. and now Click on the 'Select Input Device' and select 'Strereo Mix' or 'Mono Mix' and then Close.

I'm sure this helps you.

first: one post for all three replies would have been fine. no need to say the exact same thing twice to 2 different people.

second: apparently, it's not a vista issue. this error is happening to everyone. but, i'll try out the reg hack when i get home.

Ok dj...Did what you said...now I get:

Can't open WAVE In Device!

On app start, so no tray icon.

On ok I get:

Error preparing WAVEHDR 1! __ 00000005

On ok I get same again except WAVEHDR 2! Then it starts...no meters however, and stuck to middle of screen.

After restarting the app a few times I'm back to the original...

Error unable to set recording WAVEOUT device

Please Select the Proper Device

Check its not being used by another Program!!

Now Exiting...

ok bh2.. this is now Serious ERRORS , this errors occured when APP was unable to Initialize itsself as ur Mixer , tell me what type of Soundcard you Use , and did u select the proper Audio Out device !?? cu my app capture the Audio from the Recording Device , tell me some details about your Soundcard (sysem sound) you are using! and then i will see whats wrong with you! ok and also tel me about your operating system

Just to let you know that it's working fine here.. excellent job!

The only thing I noticed is when I move the cow (or any other skin), his eye won't move with the background (the animating part); this is hillarious and made my day :cool:

But I also notice that you said some features are not working so please don't consider this as a bug report, take your time and thanks for sharing! :cool:

hmmmm.... i dont know whts wrong with ur SoundCard , i tested my app on SoundMAX and it works fine.. this errror alsoo occurs when you have LOW RAM ?? ok now try this one:

1. goto : Control Panel > Sound and Audio Devices > Click on Advanced

2. Volume Control >Properties > and Recording > and select Mono Miz or Streo Mix .

This helps app to not select recording Device ! hope this helps u.

Hey dont give up... i got whts going wring with you. My App automaticaly starts the Recrding from the Recording Source. and i see my app was not running on tht System that have a Output , and Recording Devices. cuz in ur system Playback and Recording Mixer are not same. thtz why, but now im working on that in which user can select which Audio Mixer he wants to use

Do you have permissions to use these skins? I doubt it, especially cause you're using my (user)name and linking to your devart page. I also doubt Pe8er gave you his permission.
