Desktop colour not locking?

Hey,

Does anyone have the same problem/a fix for this; whenever I set a wall and apply it on Center (with the background colour black), it'll apply it correctly, until I restart.

So, on restart, it'll have the right wall applied correctly on Center mode, but the background colour is grey (seems to be the default Windows background colour after FlyaKite & Steve Grenier's OSX theme, instead of that XP blue). This' really annoying for B&W photos that look drained against a grey background.

Any help?
