how to make icons

I made a couple of icons in png format and i want to convert them to icons but i dont know how. Can also someone tell me how to upload a bunch of icons to deviantart, i have no idea.

You can use a program developed by the wonderful AndreasV () called AveIconifier to covert .png to .ico and vice versa. It can be found here: http://www.aqua-soft.org/board/showthread.php?t=15304

As for uploading them, put them in a .rar or .zip archive and upload the archive.

Put them in a folder. Right-click the folder...select WinRar > Add to archive. This only works if winrar is installed.
